Greene County Amateur Radio Club
By-Laws

Meetings: The Greene County Amateur Radio Club shall meet on the third Monday night of each month, at the time and place selected by the majority of the membership.

Dues: Each voting member shall be assessed one dollar ($1.00) per month, but shall be paid twelve (12) months in advance in January of each year. Member under sixteen (16) years of age shall have the option of membership with no voting rights with no dues, or membership with full voting rights at the regular dues. All members sixteen (16) years and over must pay full dues to be a member.

Members not paying dues by the February meeting will be notified by the Treasurer that they are in danger of being dropped from the membership rolls. If dues are not paid by the March regular meeting, the Treasurer will notify the Secretary and the members name will be dropped from the membership rolls and the membership is to be notified at that meeting.

Old members who have been dropped for non-payment of dues must pay the full years dues if they are to be added back to the membership roll in the same year as they were dropped.

Members reaching age 85 and who are in good standing (paid dues past three (3) years etc.) will not be assessed dues until they wish to pay them. This can be considered a gift to the club.

New members joining during the year will be assessed dues of one dollar ($1.00) per month of the retaining months in that year, and will start with full dues the following year.

Elections: Elections of Officers will be held on the third Monday night of November. Nominations will be made for the President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer, in that order. Voting will be by secret ballot. Officers are elected to serve for a period of one (1) year, but can serve additional terms if so voted by the membership. Any vacancy occurring in the Officers will be filled by the same manner at the next regular meeting.

Amendments: Amendments or changes to this constitution and/or by-laws, may be made at anytime, following guidelines as set forth in the constitution in Article Four (4)
